You know that bean left over from lunch? You can separate a cup because it will turn into a wonderful crumb! Check below all the details of this recipe for tropeiro bean farofa with cabbage.

Ingredients for making tropeiro bean farfa:

1 cup of cooked carioca beans

 100 grams of bacon

100 grams of smoked pepperoni sausage

 1 onion

 2 tablespoons of butter

 4 cloves of garlic

 1 egg

 2 tablespoons of oil

 cassava flour

 cabbage

 salt

 Black pepper

How to make tropeiro bean farfa:

Separate the ingredients. The beans have to be cooked so you can easily use the beans left over from lunch to make this farofa. The onion and garlic should be chopped and the bacon and sausage should be cut into cubes.

Do you know how to saute kale? So we teach you step by step, including how to cut it! From the list of ingredients we will need 2 tablespoons of butter, 2 cloves of garlic and salt to taste to season it.

Wash the cabbage leaves thoroughly. Start by discarding the stalk and folding the leaf in half. Then roll it as if you were rolling a roulade. Finally cut this roll into strips, as shown in the image.

Your cabbage will look like this!

Now just sauté it with the butter and the garlic cloves over medium-low heat until they wilt. Add a pinch of salt.

Remembering that this recipe has bacon, sausage and beans already cooked and seasoned, so take it very lightly in salt when seasoning the cabbage.

In another pan, saute the sausage and bacon in oil. Then add the chopped onion and brown.

Now add the minced garlic and butter. Mix and let it brown (be careful not to burn!).

Now add the cup of cooked beans and stir well (but gently so as not to break the beans).

See in this recipe all the tips for preparing a bean cooked in a basic pressure cooker!

Now add the egg and mix well to mix with the other ingredients. Season with salt and pepper if necessary.

Tip: Always break the egg into a separate bowl. If it's broken, you don't waste the entire recipe!

Add the cabbage we prepared earlier.

And, finally, add the manioc flour in the quantity you like. Your bean crumb with egg, bacon and cabbage is ready! Serve right away and just wait for the compliments - and there will be plenty, because this recipe is just too tasty!
